I am a police sniper and, to make a long story short, I was looking for a new sniper rifle as my assigned rifle was not capable of doing what I wanted.

I had been searching for a great rifle and I was quickly becoming overloaded with factory brochures, websites, and emails. I then heard several very good reports about a precision rifle maker with a company named Nor-Cal Precision. I called up and spoke with the owner, Jerry Rice, and all my questions were answered patiently and professionally.

Jerry talked with me about the options I wanted and the short barrel length. I have never met or spoken to a gunsmith before who told me not to waste my money on some options and accessories that were supposed to be the latest and greatest. That to me, was the mark of an honest man.

I received my rifle and took it out to the range. From Day one to now it has shot under 1/2 moa at all ranges I tried (under this if the shooter did his part). The cold bore shot is always in the same place as the rest of the group, which is something I can not say for many other rifles I have tried. In the heat, snow, and mud, this rifle has functioned flawlessly and accurately.

The meticulous work put into this weapon by Jerry shows up in its extreme consistency and the smooth operating. After months of fighting off my partner for the use of the rifle, we went to see the brass. We have purchased several of these rifles and the Nor-Cal Precision rifle are the only sniper rifles my SWAT team uses. I would, and have, recommend Nor-Cal for any police sniper.You will not be disappointed. I'll bet my life on it and I am supremely confident it will do every sniper precision shot that I need it to.

Hi Jerry!

I wanted to update you on our status now that both my partner and myself took possession of your rifles.

You will be happy to know that we took first place in the New England Sniper Shootout in fall 2001 and we just took first place in the Snipercraft national Sniperweek competition this April (2002)!

It is a relief to have a rugged dependable rifle that always does exactly what you expect from it. These rifles were handled and admired by a lot of the top shooters in the U.S.A. and abroad. All really liked your product.

As a side note- do you remember the movie where they said "If you build it-they will come." Thats just my way of saying....we are going to buy another one of your rifles!
