Vent System & Muzzle Brake Options
We offer the following options on most of our rifles.

TACTICAL VENT SYSTEM INSTALLED ON CUSTOMER'S RIFLE
The Tactical Vent System can be installed on a customer's own rifle. It will add the following desirable traits to the weapon:

Recoil reduction - resulting in quicker target recovery/follow-up shots.
Seventy percent muzzle flash reduction - reduces chance of you being spotted.
Side venting of gasses - so as to help protect your night vision.
Diffuses sound cone - makes it difficult to locate you by audible means.
Reduces pressure and volume of gasses from the muzzle - reduces your dust signature.

TACTICAL VENT SYSTEM & TRUE FLASH HIDER INSTALLED ON CUSTOMER'S RIFLE
The Nor-Cal Precision Tactical Vent System & Flash Hider can be installed on a customer's own rifle. It will add the following desirable traits to the weapon:

Muzzle flash with the 7.62 (.308 Winchester) is reduced by a phenomenal 99+ percent.
Muzzle flash with the 300 Winchester Magnum is reduced by 95+ percent.
Nearly impossible to see at 20-25 yards away.
Reduces dust and recoil even more than the Tactical Rifle With Tactical Vent System described above.

Important Note: This system does not suppress sound. The system diffuses sound by simply redirecting it and thus making it hard to locate the shooter.

Barrel Treatments

Barrel Fluting
The process of carefully cutting flutes (groves) in the barrel is highly recommended for weight reduction and barrel cooling.

Bead Blast & Powder Coat Customer's Rifle
Nor-Cal Precision can bead blast and powder coat a customer's rifle with a special flat black non-glare finish which produces a trouble free, pleasant looking, durable finish.

Hand Lapped Stainless Steel Match Grade Barrel
The only kind we use.

Misc. Barrel Related Options

Extra Long Barrel Option
Barrels may be ordered in extra long lengths. Barrels over 28 inches constitute 'extra long' and are charged by the inch.

Badger Ordinance Rings & Bases
Nor-Cal Precision is proud to offer what many believe to be the very BEST on the market for scope mounting. We are proud to feature Badger Ordinance rings and bases.

Chamber and true the action true bolt, and crown muzzle on customer's rifle
This process includes chambering, truing the action and bolt, crowning the muzzle, bead blast, all accuracy work done.

Magnum Calibers
There is an extra charge for us to build a rifle in a magnum caliber due to the extra cost of the action. This charge is waived when the customer supplies an action.
